The story

House Blend is built for consistency: the origins are selected from Central and South America, both natural/dry processed and washed, combining the fruity sweetness of natural processing with the clarity of wet-milling. The result is a cup that tastes good every single morning, which is a harder standard to meet than it sounds. Shade-grown and sun-dried, with environmentally conscious processing methods — the farms at altitude minimize their footprint in a region where coffee cultivation and rainforest conservation can coexist.

How to brew

Drip or pour over. Medium grind, 200°F. This is a forgiving blend that does not punish slight over- or under-extraction the way a single origin might. It is also excellent for people who are transitioning to specialty coffee from commercial brands — the familiar structure without the grocery-store compromise.
